
Alvin 'Larry' 'Andy' Anderson
Alvin "Larry" "Andy" Anderson, age 77, of Conneaut Lake, PA passed away peacefully at his residence on April 5, 2020. He was born on April 15, 1941, in Meadville, PA to the late Alvin and Dorothy (Clapp) Anderson.
Larry graduated from Meadville High School in 1960. He enlisted in the United States Navy in 1961 and proudly served four years on the USS Trout SS566 and also served with the Atlantic Reserve Fleet in Philadelphia on the Champlain. He worked as an electrician during his time in the Navy. He was employed at the former Meadville Telephone/Alltel (Windstream) as an installer and lineman. He retired from Windstream in March 2002.
He was a former Free Mason and a Conneaut Lake Borough Volunteer Firefighter. He enjoyed golfing and fishing and was a very talented woodworker.
Larry is survived by his former wife, Joyce George of Conneaut Lake, PA; four grandchildren, Steven Manuel of Cambridge Springs, PA, Rachel Manuel of Conneaut Lake, PA, Harry Casbohm of Conneaut Lake, PA and Crystal Schlosser of Conneaut Lake, PA; five great-grandchildren, Brady, Mia, Preston, Huntley and Elaina and nephew, Andy Anderson of Saline, MI.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Stephaney Casbohm Anderson; his son-in-law, Harry Casbohm, Sr., and his brother, Tom Anderson.
There will be a memorial service at Greendale Cemetery on April 18, 2020 at 11 am. Full military honors will be provided by VFW Post #2006.

Larry and I was friends for 61 years. Good friend of Ted also. I will miss seeing him at Wal Mart and the talks we had. Sweet Guy RIP Larry
